Summary
Robby pulls away from him suddenly and Jack turns to him in question. Robby is making his way out of the booth and all the kids are squealing excitedly. He looks up at the screen and sees the name of the one song he wishes he could never hear again. Not because it is a bad song, or he doesn’t like Robby absolutely belting the lyrics out in the shower. But because Robby has been playing it so much he can’t stand it anymore.

Summary
It's been a long time since Robby felt okay. He's been in worse shape, yes, but he's certainly also been much better. At least he has Jack by his side, and Dana's return to The Pitt has convinced him he'll be okay in the end.
Who the hell is he fooling.

Summary
It had started in the final months of his theology major, the voicemails that weren't meant for him. It only took listening to one or two of the voicemails to realise the person was calling his number because it had belonged to someone they lost, and who was he to deny them that comfort.

Summary
It wasn’t the first time, and it certainly wouldn’t be the last. It was ordinary, part of both their continued white-knuckled grip on the edge of life. Keeping it together. Sometimes you just couldn’t carry it alone. Sometimes you needed someone to stand by you, to fill the air with words until the world righted itself, to walk beside you back onto solid ground.
Sometimes, unfortunately, it was that person’s day off, and you had to drag yourself off the roof.
Jack kept drifting.
He wanted it all to stop.
He craved silence.
Stillness.
Darkness.
The world was too damn bright.
...
Jack has a rough night and goes to find Robby. Robby tries to keep Jack grounded, however he can.
