In the cold, empty silence of the cave, Raine watches Eda for a moment, utterly confused. Who is Eda Clawthorne, really? Who is she to them? The past week or so runs quickly in their mind, flashes of every second they’ve spent- together. There was trickery and betrayal, sure- of course there was. Their goals couldn’t be more different, even while chasing the same treasure at the end.
Raine has spent nearly a dozen days aboard her ship, and yet they’re still unsure what to make of her. Is she Captain Clawthrone, fearsome pirate captain of the Calamity? Is she Edalyn Clawthorne, woman of charm and mystery? Or is she Eda, a woman Raine can’t seem to stop themself from wanting?

Or, Raine and Eda, from rivalling pirate ships, end up chasing after the same treasure. When Raine ends up trapped aboard Eda’s ship, they find a way to make the best of their situation.
