Summary
for most people, a birthday is a day to celebrate themselves and the anniversary of their coming into the world. it is a day to surround oneself with friends, family, and anyone else that they hold dear.
for kaeya, however, birthdays serve as reminders of all he has lost, with nobody but himself to blame.

Summary
A freak blizzard at dragonspine’s peak ensures the first white Christmas in a long while for the people of Mondstadt. The snow brings forth bright yet unwelcome memories for Diluc, who can’t remember a pleasant Christmas since before that night.
Kaeya just wants to spend the holidays with Albedo and Klee, the rest of the knights invited of course, to their annual Christmas eve gathering. The snow this year, however, is making it increasingly hard to banish memories of Christmases past.
(Or Christmas exists in Mond but Kaeya and Diluc are still stupid stubborn siblings that can’t communicate).

Summary
there's nothing crepus values more than his family. when their home and safety is threatened, he takes matters into his own hands: he'd do anything to protect his sons, even if it means making questionable business exchanges with a high ranking member of the most powerful military and magical force on teyvat.
hey, at least this probably won't backfire on him horribly, right?
or: crepus shares a little more in common with his youngest son than he thinks. namely, dark secrets that are going to bite them in the asses sooner or later.

Summary
“You really like him, don’t you.”
Perhaps it should be a question, but it isn’t. Normally, Kaeya would not like things assumed about him, especially by Diluc of all people, but…
“Yeah.”
His voice is breathy; reserved.
“I think do.”
(Or: When Diluc invites Kaeya to the Dawn Winery to spend the night of his birthday, a certain Chief Alchemist may or may not mess up their plans a little bit. Only a little, though.)
