Welcome! This is the first (of hopefully many) RomanRobin Week, an event week dedicated to the relationship between Roman Sionis AKA Black Mask and the various Robins. Each day of the week will have different prompts to choose from to encourage creation!

When is it?

This first week with be from March 14th to March 20th, 2021

Does my work have to be shippy in nature?

Not at all! As long as your work is focused on Roman and a Robin, the kind of relationship (platonic, ship, etc) is completely up to you.

Does the Robin have to actually be Robin in the work?

Nope! You can choose any point in the various Robins’ careers (ex: Jason as Red Hood, Dick as Nightwing) for your work. Using “Robin” is just a way to encompass all the characters featured in this event.

Do I have to sign up for this event?

Nope! All you have to do to participate is look at the prompts and their corresponding days and create something that fits. This includes fanfics, fanart, fanmixes, image manips...the list goes on and on! As long as you tag your content with #romanrobinweek, we’ll find it and reblog it on tumblr.

How are prompts picked?

By all of you! A request will go out for prompt submissions, and then after that a poll will be released for all of you to vote on them.

Do I have to create something for every day and/or prompt?

Definitely not! All you have to do to participate is create something for one of the prompts. Past that, you’re welcome to create as much as you like!

What universes are allowed?

Absolutely everything is fair game. You can work with whatever universe or AU-type you like! Who knows--some of them might even pop up as a prompt.

Who are the mods?

1) First and foremost, be kind to one another! This is an event that everyone is welcome to participate in, and any hate towards one another could result in a ban

2) Seeing as this is a “RomanRobin” event week, all works do have to be centered around Roman Sionis and one of the Robins. These works can be platonic in nature or shippy; as long as the focus is on Roman and a Robin, then you’re good! Side pairings are fine to include.

3) If posting on tumblr, please use a “Read More” for longer fics, and please tag all of your entries with #romanrobinweek so that we can see your works and reblog them! You’re also welcome to tag us in your posts to make extra sure we see you :) If we miss you, please send us a message to let us know!

4) Please use appropriate warnings and tags! Considering the nature of this event involves a villain with a hero, the content can get dark. Please be mindful—if you’re not sure if you should tag something, do it anyway! XD

5) If posting on AO3, there will be a collection you can add your works to! This also means that cross-posting is completely fine; if you prefer to use a platform other than tumblr that’s okay! Just send us a link to your work and we can reblog it same as everyone else’s :)

6) We’re happy to accept late entries! Just send us a message when you’ve posted it and we’ll reblog it; there’s no real deadline.
