Dick’s jaw flexes. He’s been around enough to know that that means a rat. He wonders, absently, if Bruce is involved somehow.
“You and your boy did very well last time we spoke, Tommy,” Roman indulges, and Tommy nods. It’s perfunctory, no pride taken. “But I’m re-evaluating all my men these days.”
“Whatever you need, sir,” Tommy replies on Dick’s behalf. “We’re happy to prove ourselves to the cause.”

When Nightwing swallows, it bobs with the movement, dipping into the hollow of his throat.’
