  Summary

  Once upon a time, a boy arrived at a school for heroes. He found a princess. Declared his love. Usually, this is where the story ends, a declaration of love, that spawns a courtship filled with honor, and chivalry, and knights errant. Natsuki Subaru had been reading the wrong sorts of stories. This boy isn't the hero. Not yet. And this girl isn't a princess. Weiss Schnee was not waiting for somebody to sweep her off her feet. And if she was, she certainly wasn't asking for someone like him. Subaru must leverage all of his (limited) skills, and worldly knowledge if he is going to court this woman. His goal: "Become a hero with a smoking hot wife...or die trying."
