This is the official blog of Saigenos Week, a week long event meant to celebrate the relationship between Saitama and Genos. It was held on March 20th - 26th, 2016 and featured the collaborative efforts of Tumblr artists, writers, graphic makers, and more!

Each day had three prompts, a Saitama prompt, a Genos prompt, and an AU prompt. The meaning behind this arrangement as well as examples of the prompts can be found in the FAQ.

March 20th - 26th, 2016

How do I submit my work?

· You can post your submissions into the shared tag #saigenosweek so that our moderators can find & reblog it. Please put this tag in your first five tags - otherwise we might not be able to find it.
· Tag which day your entry is for, and don’t forget to include any extra information/description/prompts we might need. (You can find these in our guidelines)
· You can send your submission(s) to our submit box and we’ll post it for you. Rating tags (e.g. general/mature/nsfw), the type of submission (e.g. fanart/fic/edit/amv), and the day/prompt must be included.

What are the prompts? What do they mean?

You may find a list of prompts in our Prompts Page in our Tumblr. Each day will have three prompts, classified under Saitama, Genos, and AU. Saitama prompts are general one/two word prompts while Genos prompts are lines taken from the One Punch Man ED (Hoshi yori Saki ni Mitsukete Ageru). AU prompts are self-explanatory.

What are the prompts? Could you give an example on how to use a prompt?

Of course! Let’s use Day 2 as an example:

· Saitama prompt (Unfamiliarity): What happens if they come across a villain that is quite unlike all the others they’ve fought? You could also show Saitama having to cope with having a disciple like Genos around. You could also show them dealing with certain feelings for the first time.

· Genos prompt (I hope these feelings reach you): What if there’s something one of them wants to say but can’t? What if there’s some miscommunication or misunderstanding happening? Or what if Genos literally can’t reach Saitama (perhaps because of a spell, or perhaps because he’s in pieces and has no way of contacting anyone)?

· AU prompt (Crossovers): You could show them meeting superheroes from other fandoms (like DC or Marvel). You could what it would be like if they were in another series or setting (perhaps in another anime like Haikyuu!! or a movie like Star Wars). What if one of them switched places with a character from another fandom.

These are just examples, and you may perhaps have a different interpretation or idea for a certain prompt. Don’t worry! We’re open to all interpretations.

I’m a fanfic writer. How do I submit my fic on AO3?

1. You write your fic and tag it with the appropriate tags, like you usually would:

· pairing (Saitama/Genos)
· day/prompt
· warnings (eg. gore, nsfw etc)
· other descriptive tags

2. Save it as a draft

3. Go to our collection page, and then post it to our collection/hoard!

Is this event Saigenos only, or is Genosai okay too?

Both are okay! We’ve chosen to use SAIGENOSWEEK just as an umbrella term regardless of the bedroom dynamic they have.

Can I team up with someone in a collab?

Of course! Just make sure to mention your partner’s URL somewhere in the caption of your post.

How many submissions can I / we enter?

Endless…countless…please…

Please read through everything carefully first so that your submission can be included on the event blog. If you still have any questions after reading, please send us an ask via our askbox.

· Any medium will be accepted: fanart, fics, AMVs, photos, cosplay, edits, GIFs, graphics and etc.
· Everything you submit must be YOUR own work and created exclusively for this event. We will not accept reposts, continuations of previous works, or old works.
· Please tag your submission(s) with the #saigenosiweek tag making sure that it’s included within your first five tags so that we’ll be able to find it.
· For collaborations, please make sure to add credit to everyone involved.
· Please add appropriate warnings if your submission(s) contains triggering content, such as character death, gore, violence, underage content, non-con, and so forth.
· Please tag NSFW works.

For Fanfics

· Post it to the SAIGENOSWEEK collection.
· Make sure you post on the right day and include your prompt in the tags. Please schedule your fic to be posted on the correct day if you are not sure you will be online that day.
· You will need an AO3 account.
