Giorno doesn't always want to be the boss, and Mista is his solution.
"If ya don't open wide, 'm gonna break these nice teeth of yours, Giovanna." The barrel of Mista's gun taps against Giorno's front teeth, and he obliges. His lips stretch wide until the corners of his mouth are white with the strain, and then he can't tell if the taste of metal in his mouth is blood or just from, well, the metal.
"Suck 'er nice and slow, yeah? Just the way you make me come. She killed all those people for you. You'd better thank her."

Summary

Kars, Wamuu, and Esidisi emerge from stone to find that, while the world has changed, their feelings for each other have remained concrete.
It brings them happiness to see Wamuu back in his place when they reach their shelter, once their needs for sustenance have been fulfilled. He returns promptly to his place, kneeling in the darkness of servitude that allows him comfort.
Darkness. Oh, how the three of them have learned to claim the depths of it as their own. How they thrive in it, now.

Summary
Gyro will do anything for Johnny, and Johnny doesn't mind.
It’s their first kiss, and Johnny can smell the sourness of copper. It permeates his senses, his taste—he moves against Gyro so fluidly that it seems perfectly natural to slip his tongue along a bloody cut on Gyro’s lower lip before sucking the plump skin into his own mouth and nursing the bitterness from the wound. Johnny remembers his earlier thoughts.
Just as he feared, he’s had a taste and he wants more.

To be human is to want. Wanting food so badly that you’ve gone past hunger and into delirium. Wanting to sleep, but being too cold to, because Dario’s drunk away the firewood money again. Wanting a shred of safety, a taste of compassion, a brief example of what it might be like to live a life free from pain and fear and longing. Humanity, in Dio’s eyes, has nothing in particular to recommend it.
In which Dio struggles with the stress of humanity and makes a fateful decision.
