"If ya don't open wide, 'm gonna break these nice teeth of yours, Giovanna." The barrel of Mista's gun taps against Giorno's front teeth, and he obliges. His lips stretch wide until the corners of his mouth are white with the strain, and then he can't tell if the taste of metal in his mouth is blood or just from, well, the metal.
"Suck 'er nice and slow, yeah? Just the way you make me come. She killed all those people for you. You'd better thank her."

It’s their first kiss, and Johnny can smell the sourness of copper. It permeates his senses, his taste—he moves against Gyro so fluidly that it seems perfectly natural to slip his tongue along a bloody cut on Gyro’s lower lip before sucking the plump skin into his own mouth and nursing the bitterness from the wound. Johnny remembers his earlier thoughts.

Kakyoin remembers a man in Egypt.
The smoke mostly comes in Kakyoin’s dreams. Even after the surgeries, the implants, the rehabilitation, it hurts. Medications help him forget the physical component of his suffering, but he’s convinced they make the nightmares worse—deeper and more visceral. The smoke comes for Jotaro, too, when last of his adrenaline trickles out of him and he remembers the ones he’s lost, remembers that his brain is broken and that friends and travels could only stave off creeping depression for so long.
The days when the smoke fills their lungs are the quietest.

The thin, lacy things hide in the bottom of his travel bag. He peers again at Dio, just to make certain that he is sound asleep beneath the dawn’s mighty influence, then slips into the fabric that’s so delicate he’s afraid Dio will tear it to shreds just by looking at it.
The creamy-white stands out beautifully against darker skin, and Enrico compliments himself for choosing the color he did. White, he thinks, so frequently painted as a symbol of purity.

He already hated how the other men had their eyes on her, but he remembered that jealousy wasn’t his type and that she would be no more than a one-night fuck, even if she was Talon’s greatest sleeper agent. He let himself be content watching the way all that fancy lace hugged her body, the way the corset drew her thin hips even smaller. The delightful curve of her hips and her breasts above the bodice nearly had him drooling into what remained of his whiskey—he could only imagine what she would look like without any clothes at all.
