Written for Spacewrapped - Academy fic. Neither Bones nor Jim go home for the holidays, and Bones gets roped into dressing as either Santa or an elf/reindeer/whatever for the pediatrics ward. Jim catches him at it and thinks it's adorable and proceeds to tease Bones wickedly. Fluff and humor, plz.

“What are you doing?”
“Nothing.” The answer comes gruff and irritable and a shade too fast.
Jim’s brain instantly sets itself to yellow alert.
He studies the sudden, tense set of Bones’ shoulders as the other man hefts a large, unfamiliar duffel bag up off the bed, all the while refusing to meet Jim’s gaze.
Hmm.
Jim makes a snap command decision, the kind that Starfleet is spending tens of thousands of credits instilling in him the very ability to make.
This mission…is going to require stealth.

Then Jim gives him a real-paper naughty calendar for Christmas."

Summary: Jim and Bones go and see Joanna’s Christmas pageant. They’re called into the Principal’s office beforehand.
Warnings: schmoop, cute kids, more schmoop and some fluff. (Is there a difference between schmoop and fluff?)intriguing snippet: “My daddy says hobgoblin too, so it can’t be a bad word because he never says bad words,” Jo-Jo huffed, folding her arms. Her legs swung several centimetres from the ground. She didn’t have shoes on, just her socks and the rest of her costume. This was bad timing. She’d been all happy and the grown-ups had spoiled everything again.

A/N: This is for prompt #19 at the LJ comm, space_wrapped: Joanna gets to spend the holidays with them and Jim tries to make it the 'perfect' Christmas even though they're aboard a ship hurtling through the emptiness of space. His attempts fail miserably, but Joanna ends up adoring him and Bones couldn't be happier (or more in love).
