Summary
Evan "Buck" Buckley's car breaks down in the middle of a blizzard, leaving him no choice but to shift into his wolf form in order to survive. As he wanders through the snow, nearly freezing to death, he crosses paths with Tommy Kinard, an Alpha still haunted by the tragic death of his mate at the hands of humans. An inexplicable bond forms between them, revealing Buck as an extraordinary Omega.
Despite Tommy's reserved nature, their wolves sense they are meant to be together. Buck and Tommy enjoy each other's company until one night when their bond nearly leads to Buck's demise. Realizing the danger, they decide to separate for Buck's safety. Devastated, Buck returns to the city where he teaches wolf pups, leaving Tommy alone in his cabin. At this point, the Alpha can't even trust himself.
Months pass. On the verge of losing his mind, Tommy makes a bold decision in a desperate attempt to redefine his life as a shifter. How will Buck react, and can Tommy prove himself a worthy Alpha to win back his Omega? (no mpreg) COMPLETED

Summary
Eddie calls the painter, Tommy Kinard, without even checking his Google reviews. He laughs at Buck’s stammered questioning about who exactly this guy is and what exactly the faceless denizens of the internet are saying about him and why exactly would anyone be okay with any amount of random strangers having access to their work number via a piece of paper in their letterboxes anyway? He can’t stop himself from pointing out that every single person currently in the United States has access to their work number, which is true enough but hardly a fair comparison. And quite frankly, a little unnecessarily bitchy when Buck was just being careful.
“Maybe it’s fate.” He counters Buck’s perfectly reasonable hesitations with a shockingly nonchalant shrug. Ridiculous. Eddie doesn’t even believe in fate.

Summary
“I have to get married,” Buck said, “A stupid political marriage like Maddie and Doug. At least I get to pick from the options they give me. But it’s just- I’ve been in this cage my entire life and this marriage is going to be the final lock on it.”
"Marriage isn’t the end of the world,” Eddie tried, “Look at me and Shannon. Sure, it hasn’t always been picture perfect, but we make each other better. And we got Chris out of the deal, too.”
“But you two got to meet and fall in love,” Buck argued back, “You got to choose each other without any outside interference. Your marriage is just that- yours. My life has always been my parents and any time I try to do something for myself- get some form of independence- I end up screwing it up and making the headlines.”
Tommy remained stoic and silent by the door. As much as Buck tried to befriend the man- he was a professional. He took his job of protecting Buck very seriously and tried to keep himself separate from Buck’s personal life. Buck hated that.
“Maybe it will work out,” Eddie tried, “Maybe you’ll end up falling in love with one of the women they choose.”
“And what if I want more than maybe?” Buck asked.
