Summary
At the beginning, Zack and Sephiroth had agreed that the steel band on Zack’s ring finger was just for appearances.
It hadn’t taken them long to discuss the ring again. They already knew each others’ feelings. They had run away together for a reason. The others had been proud of them.
There came a day when Zack had tilted Sephiroth back, mouth against his throat, and asked. The second band had slipped onto Sephiroth’s finger like it had always belonged.
There had been no witnesses or ceremony.
It did not matter.
