Summary
It’s been slow, boring work waiting on these fools to be brave enough to enact their plan. Frank isn't sure what he intends to do with Nanotech, but what he does know is that he doesn't intend for these idiots to have full use of it. He's sure Stark will come collect it, or something.
He's prepared to go in guns blazing, roaring over the rain of bullets, watch their bodies fall one by one. But Frank is always a Marine at heart, and his mind is telling him wait, listen, be careful.
So he retracts his claws and walks softly inside, using the night to his advantage to slip between the shadows. And it's then Frank realizes two things.
One: there is no Nanotech.
Two: there is a young boy where the technology should be.
Fuck.

Summary
Frank Castle knows exactly what to expect from Spider-Man: bad jokes, worse timing, and a stubborn refusal to stay out of his way. He doesn’t know his name, his face, or anything about the man beneath the mask, and he prefers it that way.
But when the same investigation keeps throwing them together, irritation starts becoming familiarity, and Frank begins noticing things about the man behind the mask he was never supposed to care about. And, somehow, irritation starts looking dangerously close to something else.

Summary
Frank was Peter’s mentor when he won the Hunger Games at fourteen. Afterward, when surviving turned out to be its own kind of damage, Frank stayed.
Six years later, the Quarter Quell sends them both back into the arena.
Peter has already given the Capitol his childhood. Frank has already given it his family.
Neither of them has anything left to lose except each other.

Summary
Peter ruffles her hair like Tony Stark must've done to him a thousand times before. "Not your fault, don't worry about it."
Jean melts under the touch, akin to a snapping dog that's felt a loving hand for the first time.
But no dog ever sheds its teeth.
The door to the boathouse kicks open. A blur of a boot and something, someone clad in all black with a notable skull emblem that pronounces death has come, and punishment has come with it.
Jean tenses as Frank Castle steps inside, swinging an assault rifle from his hip to his front. Twitchy hands that want to aim and point directly at her, no doubt.
He looks angry. Unbelievably, undeniably pissed. That fury intensifying and softening as he sees Peter next who shoots him a too gleeful smile for the mood in the room.
"Sweetheart," he growls, dark and thick. "You sure got a lotta nerve for this."
