Lan Zhan sees Wei Ying's shoulders move in a shrug. "If you're sure," he says, and turns the lamp between them on to the lowest setting. "How do you want me?" he asks.
Lan Zhan chooses to treat the question at face value. "If you have tight muscles, we should start with myofascial release and then move to stretching."
"Oohoo, look at you, all, 'I guess I could help' and then knowing as much as a trained masseuse. Of course I should've expected nothing less from my Lan Zhan!" Wei Ying grins. "But I actually meant, do you want me on my back or stomach?"

Lan Wangji leaned forward to lick the sweat off of Wei Wuxian’s neck. “I am fucking you,” he said as Wei Wuxian started to whine.
He took his hand away, blinking his way back into the jingshi. Lan Wangji was laying there as unruffled as ever.
“You really like the begging, huh?” Wei Wuxian said weakly.
Lan Wangji’s smile was so warm, his eyes so soft. He said, “Wei Ying’s voice is pleasing to me.”

In the mornings, it is quiet. Sunlight curls low and mild in the eastern sky, fragrant tea leaves unfurling into the warm bowl of Cloud Recesses.
It is Lan Qiren’s favorite time of day—the stillness of an untouched pool, a mirror reflecting the vastness of the heavens, eternity laid in gentle enormity at his feet.
Then, his stomach begins to tighten as the first trills of birdsong pipe through the trees.
Tighter as the full orb of the sun breaks the horizon.
Tighter as disciples exit their rooms, their plaintive steps ricocheting through the inner sanctum.
Tighter, tighter in dreaded anticipation, a string wound for breaking, when—
“Lan Zhan! It’s too early! How can you be so cruel to your husband? After you kept me up so late last night, er-gege—”

"Wei Ying."
He did not raise his head, but only blinked once, slowly, not even trying to talk through the silencing spell as he usually did. Rarely, in either of his lives, had Lan Wangji seen Wei Wuxian this still, this quiet. Seized by a sudden impulse, he stepped toward him and ran his fingers down the side of his face. On his knees, Wei Wuxian shuddered slightly, but made no attempt to move.
It was ungentlemanly to attack an incapacitated opponent.
Wei Ying had never asked him to be a gentleman.
Sometimes on a night hunt, you have to tie up your husband.
