Singularity
Not everything in the Icewall universe fits neatly into Icewall.ย Some things stand as contradictions to its underlying nature, which is counterintuitively part of its nature.ย This is where you'll find the things that can't happen there, yet do anyway.ย This is the set of all things that aren't already part of the set of all things.

Summary
Like a fabled monolith in space, or the ring of Nibelung, our protagonist isn't a being, but an object, witness to history unfolding down the ages.

Summary
Two forces face off in battle, neither given to failure. Time before time presses down heavily, but the war is unrelenting. Each side wearies, but cannot yield. To yield is to fail โ until one side decides that if they can't win, then they can at least ensure that nobody will. After all: what's a little mutually assured destruction, between friends?

Summary
Loving yourself is important. Loving others is important. How does all of that work when you find yourself in some non-existent other-dimensional super-laboratory and discover that you ๐๐๐ everyone else around you? Was Lazarus Long behind it all, or the Wold Newtons โ then again, could it instead be the work of the Fortean Society, or maybe Silent Tristero's Empire, or even the Aluminum Bavariati or the Coordinated Information Apparatus... or perhaps most sinister of all: that of the Longinesian Chrononauts, or <gasp!> The British Museum?

Summary
NB: โatomsphereโ is a pun not a typo; it's named this for a reason.
H. G. Wells, herein the young and starry-eyed nephew of Jules Verne, has of late taken to his head such notions as to beggar the mind. Fanciful, and some might even argue impious, he took to the concept of life on the scores of other worlds that sail the sun's aether shells and of travel between the worlds. Now sober-minded Uncle Jules has written to him, seeing the errant path that is his nephew's wont of late, and hoping thereby to return him to sound course and discourse.

Summary
A truly random agent, acting over time, must embody first structure in one moment, then grey blending in the next. Given sufficient time, and/or sufficient material, any possible pattern is liable to come about; given both, an infinite number of instantiations of any such patterns is virtually guaranteed to occur across all of time and space.
