When Ainosuke had first shown him the maid dress, Tadashi hadn't known what to say. He hadn't even known it was intended for him at first, just thought that Ainosuke had some strange opinions about what the staff of the manor should wear. When Ainosuke informs him that the outfit is for him, Tadashi wants to laugh. He can't see the appeal of it, thinks it would just look awkward and feel mildly humiliating. But Ainosuke displays such child-like enthusiasm, telling him that he'll look so pretty and won't you please wear it Tadashi?
And Tadashi has never been able to deny him anything, so naturally, he caves.
