“I don’t think the anesthesia has worn off yet,” Taehyun says, but there’s a smile in his voice. He slowly sits back up and looks at Soobin, and he’s so flustered, yet so happy, and his cheeks are still so puffy that Soobin just doesn’t know what to do with himself.

Summary
“What’s Uncle Soobin’s favourite colour?” Beomgyu gasps out of nowhere. Excited hands clapping together as he goes on his knees and again, bounce on the mattress. “It’s brown!” Beomgyu announces, answering his own question and answering for Soobin.
“Brown?” Taehyun unevenly echoes. It’s clear he’s slightly startled at the uncommon guess. It’s so hard to call it a guess, when Beomgyu seems so sure when he said it. “D’you really think so, sweetheart?”
Taehyun glances at Soobin, half expecting him to correct Beomgyu or to just say something. But Soobin simply stays lying on his stomach, unable to find the proper words to say out loud how he feels. Because as he finds Taehyun’s eyes again, holding them that equally stays on his, Soobin thinks Beomgyu is right.
or; dormmates Soobin and Taehyun are suddenly put in charge of looking after the random little boy – Choi Beomgyu – for the day. Trains, rains, comfort and love; the two learn a few extra bits and pieces about themselves in the midst of it.

Summary
“Scent me, please. I need you to scent me.”
“I can’t do that, Taehyun-ah,” Soobin says through gritted teeth, grip tightening on the knob as he tries to hold himself in place. Taehyun always found it amusing how Soobin is an open book, how he can’t mask his emotions. “We both know that.”
“Why not? I’m asking you,” he says, trying to keep the alluring tone but not doing a good job at it. Taehyun wants to cry, his wolf can almost sense the second rejection coming their way like another low blow. Taehyun hasn’t been dealing well with the first rejection while being in a normal condition, who knows how he’ll endure it while in his heat. “No, I’m begging you.”
“Taehyun, we’re not together anymore. We broke up, remember?” Soobin says, softly but so cruel at the same time. “I can’t scent you anymore, especially when you’re not in your right mind. You’re in heat, and I’m sure that my scent will be the least helpful thing at the moment.”
Six months after their break-up, Taehyun finds himself in what only could be considered the worst of lucks possible: experiencing a heat while Soobin, his ex boyfriend, is only a few rooms away from him.

Yeonjun raises his eyebrows incredulously. "You like him? Since when?"
"Since this morning. I already confessed to him earlier but he didn't seem to get it."
"You confessed to him," Yeonjun repeats, looking pained. "And what did he say?"
"He called me a lizard. And he said we can't reproduce because we're both men."
Taehyun drinks a little too much and accidentally reveals his past crush on Soobin. Soobin realises things.
