Summary
The area was almost eerily quiet, the bird calls had faded into the distance and it seemed to be clear of even alligators which was truly unusual.
He leaned closer to the surface of the water to try and get a better look for any Whirligig groups that would be swimming along the surface, but even then there was nothing. He looked closer and could swear he saw something, but was sure it wasn’t anything, because there was something… Pink?

Summary
His heart felt heavy, but not feeling the cold, icy sting of sadness that he had known to form when he did feel truly upset. He’d had hopes for a little monster to come slithering out, for one of them to actually take. But it had been empty. Empty and lifeless, kinda like how Kakyoin felt.
He wasn't upset.
