"Right," Hitoshi snorts out. "Not even my own pa—guardians want me and you think he might. Funny, Neito, really."

Summary
Derek never imagined that college would be like this. His major was something to do with anthropology (no, he doesn't know what he's doing with his life), his dorm room smelled like a locker room half the time and a fairy princess land the other half (yes, he spent way too much on febreeze), and his roommate was always hanging around with his girlfriend (no, he was not jealous).
Really, he didn't have a problem with Scott. No, it was Scott's best friend that he couldn't stand. Stiles, the little shit called himself, and he was the most infuriatingly beautiful asshole to ever walk into Derek's life.

Summary
"Did you have a good time?" Shouta asks, watching for any sign that maybe Hitoshi didn't, but he nods and grins at them.
"Yeah, it was great," he rushes out and then promptly leaves them right there as he rushes off to his bedroom.
Shouta and Hizashi share a look because they know what's next—Hitoshi holes himself up in his bedroom and cries his eyes out.
And Shouta thinks he's never been this confused or this helpless in his entire life before.

Summary
It never really bothered Katsuki that he doesn't have the best of relationships with his parents, but right now it's the worst thing that ever happened and Katsuki doesn't know how to handle it at all.
Especially since Hitoshi brought him home to meet Aizawa and Yamada and they were so welcoming.
So welcoming in fact that they told him he can always call or come over, no matter if Hitoshi is there as well and Katsuki's hand twitches towards his phone. It's been a few weeks since that first dinner, but those words still ring clear in Katsuki's ears. He hasn't contacted them on his own yet, but he thinks now might be a good time as any to try and test this.
And if they are not as welcoming as they promised, he can always argue that this is Hitoshi's place as well and explain himself like that.
They don't have to know that he doesn't really have a father to call.

"I..." He automatically wanted to hide it all, pretend that he was fine like he always did. But, he just so tired. Tired of the muzzle, tired of the restraints, tired of being allowed little to no food, tired of the beatings, tired of living in fear. "I... what would you do if I said I needed help?"
"Do you need help?" His mentor's normally deadpan tone was verging on frantic now. "Are you in danger?"
"What would you do?" His voice was cracked and raw, hot tears falling down his cheeks.
"I'm going to help you. Whatever you need, just ask."
Hitoshi hesitated, too many doubts swirling around in his mind in such a rapidly dizzying manner that it was practically impossible to even hope to put words to.
"Hitoshi." Aizawa's voice softened into a comforting murmur. "Whatever you're afraid of, I'll protect you."
"Promise?"
"Promise. I never go back on my word kid."
