Derek never imagined that college would be like this. His major was something to do with anthropology (no, he doesn't know what he's doing with his life), his dorm room smelled like a locker room half the time and a fairy princess land the other half (yes, he spent way too much on febreeze), and his roommate was always hanging around with his girlfriend (no, he was not jealous).
Really, he didn't have a problem with Scott. No, it was Scott's best friend that he couldn't stand. Stiles, the little shit called himself, and he was the most infuriatingly beautiful asshole to ever walk into Derek's life.

Shouta and Hizashi share a look because they know what's next—Hitoshi holes himself up in his bedroom and cries his eyes out.

It never really bothered Katsuki that he doesn't have the best of relationships with his parents, but right now it's the worst thing that ever happened and Katsuki doesn't know how to handle it at all.
Especially since Hitoshi brought him home to meet Aizawa and Yamada and they were so welcoming.
So welcoming in fact that they told him he can always call or come over, no matter if Hitoshi is there as well and Katsuki's hand twitches towards his phone. It's been a few weeks since that first dinner, but those words still ring clear in Katsuki's ears. He hasn't contacted them on his own yet, but he thinks now might be a good time as any to try and test this.
And if they are not as welcoming as they promised, he can always argue that this is Hitoshi's place as well and explain himself like that.
They don't have to know that he doesn't really have a father to call.

Hizashi shakes his head. “I’ve been told that for as long as I remember being in the foster system,” he says. “The reason why I ended up there was because I lost control of my quirk and that killed my parents.”
Shouta works up the courage to ask why Hizashi doesn't open up about his family to him, and is shocked to learn what Hizashi's been told this whole time. Unable to believe what Hizashi's foster parents have been telling him, he finds a way for Hizashi to learn the truth about what happened.

Shouta blinked, his eyes and mind regaining focus on the boy sitting next to him. A massive grin was splitting Oboro’s face, his eyes crinkling with poorly-contained laughter.
“What?” he said, trying to tune into the conversation. Asking for clarification was something he had to do quite often when talking with his two friends- Oboro would just start talking about a random subject like they had been discussing it beforehand (even though they hadn’t), and Hizashi was prone to talk about a multitude of things at the same time and then ask Shouta’s opinion about a specific one he had mentioned.
(Shouta usually just talked about a few, same-y topics. He liked having his routines.)
