Summary
Husk should have known the first time was setting a standard. He would have said no; that would have been the smart thing to do. Unfortunately, his stupid heart was a touch softer than it should have been for the box-headed idiot. It’s stupid; he’s an Overlord, he should know better.
But here he was with his pants unbuttoned again. Vox’s blue claws toying with the straps of his suspenders, trying to shimmy them off his shoulders so he can reach around and grab his ass.
“Whoa, wait a second there, sparky.”“Husky,” Vox slurs as he wriggles his way closer, resting the side of his casing on Husk’s shoulder. His shirt is untucked, his buttons done up wrong. The worst part is Husk can’t even take responsibility for that. No, the fucker had come in like that.
Or a very inebriated Vox seeks out Husk for comfort.

Summary
Alastor waits a reasonable amount of time for his husband to send him sexy gym photos, but the photos don’t come, and Vox doesn’t even respond to his texts. Before he can grow worried, he sees the bright pink, Hello Kitty phone case sitting on the counter. Vox has forgotten his phone, which means Alastor doesn’t get sexy gym photos. This is unacceptable. So he remedies it.

“I still don’t understand why I am wearing bloomers,” Vox said as Alastor held firmly to his wrist, preventing him from fleeing. Which he really would like to do, given that he was not only wearing bloomers, of all things, but also terribly scratchy tights and a ruff around his neck that poked at his screen. Everything looked vaguely ridiculous.
He… didn’t mind the codpiece, though. That could stay.
“We’ve been over this, Vox,” Alastor replied patiently, pulling him to a halt outside the bar and resting his hands on Vox’s shoulders. Vox sniffed. “They’re breaches, not bloomers. You’re several centuries too late with your terminology.”
“Yeah, well, these breaches are several centuries too late for me to be wearing, too,” Vox grumbled as Alastor adjusted his ruff. “We’re going out for a drink, not a Renaissance festival.”
“Why not both?”
