Vlad Masters had always believed he was one step ahead- untouchable, unstoppable. Buying Axion Labs was just another calculated move to get closer to the rising threat of the GIW. A way to learn how to destroy it from the inside.
But at a secret event only for the most elite, everything changes.
There's another half ghost. Phantom. Captured by the GIW at a young age, now a tenacious teenager.
And Vlad sees an opportunity. With the right heist, this Phantom could become the most powerful, loyal ally he's ever had. Forever loyal only to him.

Obsessions are not fun.
They're even less fun when circumstances force you to either change the reason you exist or fall to pieces. And that becomes even impossibly less fun when you've been stuck with the same on-the-brink-of-cracking obsession for the past 20 years, and have never humored the thought of moving on.

Danny took a sharp intake of breath as soon as he heard the chilling voice, and his eyes flew open.
What was Plasmius doing here, and why was he the one of all people who had taken the place of Sam and Tucker at this moment? At least that’s what he was hoping would be happening – ok, no. No way. Vlad being the person who was rescuing him? That was insane.
