Summary
Class 77b is slowly making Jabberwock Island their home, but Hinata struggles to connect with his classmates and his sense of self after fusing with Kamukura.
Hinata woke up first, but he feels like he woke up like someone else. He knows that's wrong, that of course he's Hinata, he's just Kamukura now, too, but now he doesn't feel like either. Except when he's with Komaeda, when he can forget how wrong everything feels. Running away through someone else doesn't work forever, though.

The silence drags for so long that Megumi’s not sure if it’s seconds that have passed, or minutes, or hours.
“Does it help?” he finally asks.
Yuuji hesitates before answering; his gaze flicks to the jacket, dark with guilt, then back to Megumi’s face, searching for judgment and finding only quiet permission. He lets out a shaky exhale and gives a tiny, almost imperceptible nod. “Sometimes,” he whispers.
It’s the most honest thing he’s said all night.

"You're... attracted to me?" Yuuji asked, shocked.
"Yes," Megumi said, raising an eyebrow.
"Even though I'm, uh. Not a pan? And definitely not a kitchen utensil?" Yuuji asked.
Megumi snorted. "Yes, Yuuji. Even though you're not a pan. Or a kitchen utensil."
