Summary
Tomorrow they would have to cut down rationing and find a new way of storing food for months. Tomorrow Bellamy would go hunting and Clarke would be teaching Azgeda healers how to use some of their equipment while they taught her how to weave bandages. Tomorrow Raven would have more calculations, more ways to save the world and even more reasons why they couldn’t.
“We still have tomorrow,” Bellamy’s hand hovered on her back. Sure, they had tomorrow. And only 45 days after that. “Clarke, we’re always going to have tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow, then,” Clarke said, setting down her own pen. “We’ll save the world tomorrow.”

Summary
“I was thinking about last night,” she ends up blurting out, and then wants to slap herself, because stupid, stupid girl.
She can actually see Bellamy’s walls go up, and she wants to laugh and cry at the same time because he is so predictable. “What about last night?” he asks slowly, eyes narrowed and trained on her. A muscle works in his jaw and she swallows, mouth suddenly dry.
“Well, I was thinking,” she continues, still trying for nonchalance and completely missing the mark, “That the two of us deserve some fun. Together.”
“What,” he says, completely deadpan, and Clarke is ready to run for the hills.

Summary
“Oh well?” Clarke repeats, straightening, disbelief clear in her voice. “So, what? You’re going to let it go, just like that? You’re just going to grimly accept your fate of having terrible, sub-par Christmases and go on pretending that you don’t care about the holiday as much as you do?”
“Uh,” Bellamy goes, bracingly, “yes?” Then, with a shrug of his shoulders, “Hate to break it to you, Clarke. But it’s just a holiday.”
Or: Bellamy has never had a enjoyable Christmas. Clarke seeks to rectify that.

Summary
Single Clarke puts her spare room on Airbnb for the holidays. Cue the most ridiculous parade of attractive people in and out of her apartment.
Meanwhile, Bellamy keeps getting mysterious gifts from someone at work.
They’re each basically living out their own romantic comedy. Too bad they’re more interested in each other than following the script.

Summary
Getting a nemesis doesn’t really go the way Clarke would have expected.
It’s just fairly… anticlimactic. Mostly because they only see each other in lectures, and they don’t ever actually talk to each other. Their rivalry consists of raised hands and pointed responses that are technically directed to the professor, but plainly in opposition to the other.
OR: The one where Clarke and Bellamy are the students you hated in all your classes.

Summary
“The second challenge,” he says. “They took people important to the champions. They had to rescue you from the bottom of the lake.”
Wells keeps talking, something about Monty and gillyweed, but Bellamy’s eyes have instinctively snapped to Clarke on the podium. Important, huh, he thinks, and almost like magic, her bright, blue eyes move to meet his.

Summary
She looks at him expectantly when he walks in, daring him to say something. His interactions with Clarke since their first day have consisted of “hello” “goodbye” and the occasional glare when he scoffs at something corny she says to a patient. But right now, he can’t help but take the bait.
“Mommy pull some strings for you, Princess?”
Clarke deflates a bit, and for a second it dawns on him that maybe she was waiting for him to congratulate her? But then,
“Go fuck yourself.”

Summary
Three weeks of living together, and it wasn’t terrible. Bellamy was infallibly quiet whenever he left for early morning scouting shifts, and she’d finally managed to convince him to go right back to sleep when someone called her for a late night medical emergency instead of going with her. He was tidier than she was--too often she had to scrounge for her clothes on his side of the room, muttering apologies as she did so--but she had the upper hand on making small talk. Often it was just about what was next on their list for surviving the winter, but still, she made the effort.
or, the ark never makes it down, winter comes to the ground, and clarke & bellamy find themselves living together

Summary
One late evening after planning for the winter frost, Clarke kisses Bellamy softly before leaving his quarters.
It's quite a surprise to them both. Not because it's never happened, but because they broke up a few months before.
They should probably just talk about it rather than mutually pining, right?

"Octavia is always bothering me about how I only ever talk about my classes, or dorm council stuff, or work study and she thinks I need more of a social life. So,” he shrugs, “I told her I had one.”
“You know that making up a fake girlfriend is more pathetic than just not dating anyone, right? If your sister wasn’t worried about your social life before, I’d say she should be now.”
