The world keeps pushing him, demanding, because what he did wasn't enough. Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, but that wasn't enough, wasn't ever enough.
Tony Stark was tired. But he had a planet to protect, even if everyone laughed at him whenever the prospect of alien invasions was brought up. He could count on one hand how many people he could trust, which was disheartening but then, what else was new?

This is a question Tony wished he had asked himself the first time around. Looking back at it now, he should have known what they wanted was a cash cow.

They called him irresponsible for not knowing his father’s business partner, who was CEO for four years after the death of his parents turned out to be dealing under the table. But when it was discovered that Hydra had been in SHIELD almost as long as the agency had been in existence, no one blamed Fury, Peggy or any of the people who knowingly hired terrorists.It was Hydra’s fault for infiltrating SHIELD, but it was Tony’s fault for not knowing his godfather was making deals with terrorists.
Such double standards.

In October 2023 Tony Stark says “I am Iron Man” and snaps his fingers before he dies. A few seconds later cameras are flashing in his face and people want him to elaborate on the statement. It’s November 2009 after all, and the people have questions.
All violence is typical of canon, also this is gonna have a happy ending so no major character deaths of MY protagonists, just some people who are protagonists in canon. 😘
