Summary
Patrick Zweig has fallen in love with his best friend in the whole wide world: Art Donaldson. The Summer break is just about to begin, and so Patrick has to return to Zweig's mannor, a simple house, not really a home. The Mark Rebellato Tennis Academy has been his true home since he was 12. Now, as he thinks in ways he can come clean and confess his feelings, David —another student at the tennis academy, handsome, cocky and proud— threatens to stole Art from Patrick.

Patrick Zweig didn’t believe in soulmates. He didn’t believe that there were people out there who would make him whole, just because they were destined to do so. He didn’t believe in fate or divine intervention. Patrick loved intentionally, wholly, recklessly. He crawled to hell and back to love, to make himself whole. Now, lying underneath Art’s warm body, Patrick knew that it wasn’t fate that brought him here. He’d willed this. He’d bled for this, tore himself apart to pieces for the chance of being able to kiss the man before him, to savor the bitter sweetness in his lips, to bury himself beneath Art’s skin.

Basically a Challengers rewrite of the boys kissing scene. In the fanon that exists in my head Patrick and Art get together and Tashi is a bisexual who's a maneater with men, but awkward and blushing with girls and I give her a girlfriend.
