Summary
It took time, but Dean has gotten used to being alone. He knows enough good people and places in Ucora to get by. He is more than used to the coldness of his cottage. With a nice open space where he can sit by the fire in the winter, admiring the pieces that hang on his walls, from paintings to wood and metal sculptures. His little kitchen. The dining table. The stairs that lead to his room and storage room.
It’s not too much, but he is fortunate to have a nice enough space. He has repetition. He has all the time and ale in the world to forget about his nightmares and get by.
That makes change, however big or small, extremely noticeable.
A loud crash on his roof, for example, that interrupts his damn nice sleep after struggling to properly close up shop and protect all his materials in a freakin’ storm, definitely counts as change.

Summary
Chuck is defeated and his power now belongs to Jack and Amara. They struggle with adjusting to their newly-shared existence, and with big questions such as, how can (almost) all-powerful beings avoid becoming what Chuck was?
What even is all that power good for when it doesn't allow Jack to save someone from the Empty who absolutely deserves being saved?
Who thought it was a good idea to hand all that power to two beings who, together, have spent less years on Earth than the average human child?
...And why is there suddenly black goo everywhere?

People come from far and wide asking for their assistance, and he’s used to the strangers that come to him for help. Until the day when a handsome man arrives on his doorstep, asking for Dean’s help retrieving a very important relic. One that’ll inevitably bind the two together for life.
