After a hiatus last year, I'm back on my bullshit, bringing you another seven chapters of Ishgard's hottest (unofficial) canon couple, go ahead fite me in the comments about it (legit, I'm dying for comments that aren't bots, this is such a stupid timeline-)
Please enjoy a week of Estinien and Aymeric being soft and fluffy, because that's all I know how to write, other than them being hot and spicy, because I just want them to be happy, SINCE THE GAME WON'T LET THEM, FREE AYMERIC FROM HIS OFFICE-

Summary
Contains character spoilers for FF14 2.55 MSQ and spoilers for Haibane Renmei themes and plot devices/locations.
Rated G for a brief mention of blood and (literal) sleeping together. In a series of letters to his lover, who has recently had his Day of Flight and left the Haibane, Estinien relates the ongoing events in his life, as well as his process of coming to terms with Aymeric’s absence.
A merging of the worlds of Final Fantasy XIV and Haibane Renmei. Crossover details in the front notes.
The author has chosen not to use archive warnings in order to avoid making a statement as to the nature of the Haibane and the Day of Flight. Be warned that loss is being explored here, but I’m not comfortable saying yea or nay to the nature of the loss being death specifically. The other archive warnings are not present.Written for day 6 of Estimeric Week 2026, prompt: Sin.
