Had a negatively visceral reaction to the final scene of 3b? Us too. Come satisfy your sadistic urges and put Kate back in the ground where she belongs.

We want blood, guts, and gore. Spells and curses. For the squeamish, a nice tidy poisoning might do the trick. Perhaps the very karmic hit-by-a-bus cliche. All you have to do is kill Kate :D

We're aware that some fans may enjoy the conflict Kate brings to Teen Wolf, and that's fine. We, however, need a little fix-it after the end of 3b, a fortifying shot of death-to-Kate before Season 4. If that's not you, feel free to partake in something a little more palatable.

Dates

Prompting is closed. The collection will remain open for fills indefinitely.

Unprompted work or previous Kate deathfic can be added to the parent collection at any time.

Prompting

Keep it concise. We don't want your 4 page fic outline. A good prompt is no more than a paragraph and gives the filler room to move. Use the AO3 tags to compliment your prompt with characters, relationship, and additional tags (such as method of death and any trigger warnings that might be applicable).

You get 3 prompts. Use them wisely. Check the previous prompts and don't duplicate.

You can prompt even if you don't intend to fill. This is for readers, too!

Your prompt is not guaranteed a fill. If someone is inspired and writes it, yay! You can help encourage more fills by pimping the challenge everyfuckingwhere. Tumblr it. Reblog it. Tweet and RT it. Bully your friends. Print your prompt and stick it under the wiper blades of every car on your street. What.

Prompts are open to content based on canon through the end of Season 3b. Please keep Season 4 hints, teasers, leaks, new characters, interview comments etc out of your prompts. AU prompts are fine of course, but likewise they should be free of any of the above. Mods will evaluate the necessity of a post-Season 4 round after it's aired.

Claiming

Prompts can be claimed and filled by multiple authors.

If you're going to claim a prompt, please fill it in a timely manner or remove your claim.

Filling

It's not just for fic. You can fill with whatever media floats your boat. Write, art, fanmix, remix (with permission), do all the things.

There are no wordcount minimums, or maximums. Write as many words (or art as much art) as you need to fill your prompt.

Complete works are preferred. The prompt must be filled (Kate must die) in a timely manner. If you want to continue your work after that's done, no problem! But we'd rather not have abandoned/unfinished works in the collection that don't fit the reason for it's existence.

To post your fill, simply claim the prompt and it will appear as a tick box option on your Post New Work page. Tick the box and post!

Unprompted Works

Have your own Kate-killing bunny? Awesome! Write it! Have a Kate deathfic you wrote back in Season 1? Add unprompted and previous works to the parent collection.

Anonymous Submissions

Prompting anonymously is an option on the prompting form.

If you wish to fill anonymously, in addition to this collection, also add it to Anonymous, an unaffiliated general anon works collection. Mods are able to see your username if we dig deep into the bowels of the collection, but we're certainly not going to out you.

Graphic Content and Triggers

Because violence and character death is a gimme here, make sure you use warnings appropriately. When posting a fill 'Choose not to use archive warnings' IS appropriate, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

This is a no holds barred challenge. There may be very graphic content and MCD within. Fans should use discretion when browsing prompts and reading fills.
