This is a writing event inspired by Minecraft Championships! 8 teams of 4 will be submitting fics based on prompts inspired by the MCC minigame. This event will last for 8 weeks, with a one-week break in-between, so each participant has a week to create each fic. These are then scored of a system of 100 words = one point, with some other factors that may add or deduct points. In the end, the team with the most points will be crowned the winner!

- Follow the AO3 tagging system. This includes things such as violence, bigotry, slurs, and other things that generally need to be warned for

- No generative AI should be used in any part of your writing process, which includes outlines and ideas

- This is an all-ages event, so fics must be kept SFW. In the rules channel of the Discord server, there is a list of topics not to be included in your piece that generally fall under "NSFW"

- Despite the MCC theming, all fandoms are welcome. Crossovers are also welcomed

- You cannot start the writing process until after the prompts are revealed

- You may collaborate with somebody on a fic, but this must be someone from your team. Additionally, any collab fics count as your fic for the week, so you cannot collaborate with somebody and then write another fic for that same prompt

- When submitting fics, please make sure to select your team as a sub-collection. If you are a sub-in for the week, make sure you select the sub-collection for the team you are temporarily apart of
