Steve's voice came out weak when he looked at Nancy. Did he hear her right? There was no way she had just said that to him. The words 'I don't love you' and 'bullshit' echoed through Steve's mind. Maybe he just misunderstood her. But judging from the annoyed and drunken look on her face she was dead serious. Ouch. He felt like he just got stabbed in the heart.
