Summary
Jeonghan swallowed around the lump in his throat, pressing a cold cloth against Seungcheol's bleeding knuckles. The skin here had split open, angry blooms of crimson and purple staining hands that had once resembled polished jade.
Could he, he wondered, ever be allowed to love a man who cared enough to break bones and skin for him?
"Stop," Seungcheol murmured, reaching up to brush the corner of Jeonghan’s mouth. This man coaxed the bitten lip free from between teeth. "You are hurting yourself."
Something complicated unfurled inside Jeonghan's chest, warmth flooding through him as he searched the face of this venerable governor, his eyes round and welling with tears.
"Stop," Seungcheol whispered again, his voice quieter now, almost pained. "If you keep looking at me like that, I might forget you want me dead.”
In which Yoon Jeonghan lives only to avenge his family, Choi Seungcheol lives only to obey the kingdom, and somewhere between the changing seasons, both begin to lose sight of which duty came first.

Summary
Everyone's been telling Jeonghan that the year he's entering at Hogwarts is the year that everyone finds love.
But Jeonghan thinks this is impossible for him; he has very specific qualifications in a future partner and is sooner likely to find a rare eldritch-eqsue horror roaming around the grounds than the love of his life.
