Their eyes meet, and Renjun can’t help but blush at being caught in the act of staring. Isn’t it natural to be curious about a creature you thought only existed in fairytales? Wouldn’t it be weirder not to be curious?
Renjun studies marine biology. If you think of it that way, his interest in Jaemin’s body is purely academic. “A little,” he admits.
(On a quiet summer day, Renjun finds out quite abruptly that mermen are real. And that he might be attracted to one of them in particular. That merman might also be trying to marry him, but that's a separate issue for now.)

“I’m a fox, Ice.” He says for what feels like the millionth time since this whole schtick between them started so many years ago.
Ice’s smile is suggestive as he looks Renjun up and down. “Hmm, yes you are.”

"Renjun has been called that friendly neighborhood cat dad ever since he started doing volunteering work for the neighborhood," Jeno said while flipping the pages of the magazine in his hands. Jeno, Jisung, and Jaemin are all together in Jaemin's house because the two decided to go home since they have a 1 week break from the university.
Jaemin scoffed, "Friendly neighborhood cat dad?" He gave the twins a questioning look, "Can you still call someone friendly as hell when they want to kill you in their head whenever they see you? I don't think so." Jaemin added.
