I mean, I can take care of myself, but this is getting really excessive—”
“Mirabel,” Isabela interrupts, sounding tired and very done with this conversation, “get to the point.”
Mirabel’s jaw snaps shut and she doesn’t even dish anything back. “Right,” she says instead, a bit faint. “Um, well, I’m pretty sure someone’s been stalking me for the past two weeks. Including right now.”
There’s a sudden silence from the other side. Then, “What.”
