His most common response is a thank you, but of course Akutagawa isn't a common person.

It was all Dazai-san’s fault.
To be fair, Atsushi knew it really wasn’t anyone’s fault but his own. But being in denial was much better than admitting that he had feelings for… ugh.
Why did Dazai-san have to drag them to the goddamn karaoke bar?
“You are even more unpleasant to look at when you frown, weretiger,” Akutugawa said from Atsushi’s left where he was sat on the couch, his arms crossed and looking like he would rather be anywhere but there.
“Well then stop looking at me!” Atsushi snapped. Akutugawa was the bane of his existence, especially in the last couple of weeks since they had been forced to work together more often by Dazai-san.
“Oi, no fighting! Either drink or shut the fuck u- honestly both, just do both,” Chuuya snapped, before turning back to the screen while waiting for his cue again.OR
Atsushi and Akutagawa get dragged into some SKK shenanigans, and have to face their feelings for each other. Canon-typical SSKK chaos and bickering ensues.

When Akutagawa answers the phone, Chuuya has already worked himself into a frothing, spitting rage—meaning Dazai must have called.
All Chuuya has to say to him—once they make it through the usual fucking cunt, blah blah, shit-eating bastard, blah, brain-damaged asshole—is: "You're robbing some tech big-shot. Call that fucking tiger-kid and work it out yourself."
Then he hangs up, presumably to drown himself in single-malt.

"Who cares what he thinks? Fuck Dazai-san and his spoiled cunt syndrome." She said it matter-of-factly as if she didnt insult one of the most dangerous men in the world.
"You can't be saying things like that!" He growled.
"I can, I will and I just did. I’ll do it again. Screw Dazai and the stick that's shoved so far up his ass it makes his eyes useless. Seriously, we ought to sell his eyes off for experiments. Scientists would love to know the cause behind such a unique sort of blindness."In a quest to impress Dazai, Akutagawa ends up rescuing a child experiment. Little did he know how that one little mission would alter the course of his life in a way even Dazai couldn't predict.
In which Akutagawa fights a losing battle to retain his sanity as he grows up alongside the ever-annoying Jinko in the PM. He also somehow misses how the fight to stay sane evolves into a partnership, friendship and then love.

“Oh? You know, they do say idle hands are the devil's workshop. What makes you so lost?” Atsushi probed as he adjusted his shoulders slightly, creating more space for Akutagawa to come closer.
“Many things. My past, my present. You.” Akutagawa replied, his voice trailing off at the end of his sentence.

Akutagawa and Atsushi find themselves stuck overnight in a cold forest, with the only company they have being each other, and the stars.
