His hooves are still tender from the thrush that had settled into the grooves and frog of his feet. But the grass is not the hard concrete that had made up the floor of the factory. The mountain air is sweet smelling, fresh and twinged with hits of pine that blow down from steep slopes. There are almost no fences, at least from what Eijirou can see.
“Where are the fences?”
“Oh, we have a few, mostly on the boundaries though to keep out unwanted people.” Uraraka tells him. “But this isn’t meant to be a prison for you and all of our centaurs are allowed to roam.”
Eijirou swallows, “Are there a lot?”

“Yeah. One of my middle school friends. But I hated it. And I kinda hate him now.” Eijiro laughed, but he could see the sadness flash in his eyes.
Eijiro clicked his teeth, “You shouldn’t let Kami get to you. Not everyone likes kissing people. It’s okay.”
“I just… I never wanted to before.” He admitted.
“And there’s nothing wrong with that.” Eijiro started to rub his hands up and down his back.
“It…it doesn’t make me weird or whatever?” He asked, the words shakey.
“Aw Kats, of course not! Not at all, silly.”
He sniffed, burying his head in the crook of Eijiro’s neck.
