Both detectives look at Lucy.
“What?”
“You’re going to have to, well...” Angela starts.
“Be pretty intimate with him,” Nyla finishes. “You’ll have to treat him like any other client.”
The thought did occur to Lucy, of course, but she knows she’ll do what she needs to to get the job done. It’ll be a bit awkward, of course, but she and Tim are professionals. So, she responds with an easy shrug and says, “Yeah. I get it. I’ll have to give him lap dances while half naked. It’s fine. He’ll be fine, too.”
