    I really appreciate that Bucky feels comfortable enough to say this to Rogers and he won't get punished for this. I also really love how you write Steve and Bucky.
    “Ugh, I missed dinner, didn’t I?” He frowned. “Sorry I’m late, Tony needed… attention, mostly.”

    Bucky shrugged. “I’m not your housewife, Rogers, you don’t show up, we eat without you. Go make yourself a toast or something.”

    Tony and Steve having this moment is one of the best reasons I have read why Tony would help. A lot of authors have come close to what you articulated but I think you did a fantastic job.
    “Thank you, Tony.” He said at last. “All of this…” He gestured to the machinery outside. “You put a lot of work into this.”

    “Ah well, I uhm…” He shrugged. “It caused a lot of pain, this company. I’m still trying to make up for that by healing and helping instead of killing. Doesn’t bring back the lives that were lost, but y’know … ” His eyes focused on the city outside the window, a soft shadow of sadness on his face. “That’s the difference between him and me, you know. When I found out who he was, I was so angry. I wanted to kill him. But then I saw the rest of the files. What they did. He had no choice. He was barely still a person.” He swallowed hard. “But I did. I was. I knew what I was doing, I was fully aware that these weapons were out there, costing somebody’s life. Came up with the prettiest excuses why it was okay. But I knew it was wrong and I still did it.”

     

    “Tony…” Steve felt the need to reach out and touch him but he held back, unsure how comfortable the other man felt around him. “You are a good man. A great man. You’re kind, brave, honest. It is an honor to be your friend.”

    “Careful Cap,” Tony grinned. “cheesy speeches like that you might make tall, dark and murderous jealous.” His voice had regained his usual sass but his eyes betrayed his feelings.

    Bucky and Shuri I love her so much so whenever she is written with so much sass I love it because that is her she is 80% science, 10% sass and 100% creative genius. I love the way that Bucky outed himself and she just rolled with it and then she was like oh yes Seargent we are going to get along great. LOL Broken White Boy Club personally I always thing Shuri would adopt Tony into this club and then he would adopt her into the Kids Who Are Going to Make a Difference Club like Harley and Peter.

      Definitely agree, Shuri and Tony is a wonderful combination! She is such a wonderful character.
      I also feel like most of the Avengers would all have that tumblr dark sense of humour to cope with their various traumas and Shuri, being a meme queen, would absolutely love that.
      There's a lot of meme potential in that!
