                                                                              It's just dark in the bag. Maybe he can convince nightmare to set the apple by a window and to read out loud or like an audio book.

And then learning the apple houses the adult corrupted personality. And Nightmare is talking to them. Like it was his friend.                                                                                           Mare behaves only to not get in Bag Timeout. Nightmare is really the only one that can sense and understand him. Mare refuses to even attempt to try and see if dream can sense him.

                                                                                          The grumpy apple just kinda simmers from how awful this is. At least night will shine the apple some and try to be the best guardian the kid can be.
