    this fic is so sweet and literally everything to me. the way you write each character and their dynamics between each other is so fluid and so well done. i love how you characterize everyone you write.

    and AHH hunter,, he is such a good mix of self deprecating, and forcing his solider personality, and wanting to get better. he’s got so much trauma and baggage in him and wants to brute force his way through it. and instead of having to do that alone, he has darius and eber who love him so much :(

    darius and eber are so patient and kirk with him, they want to help him exist and handle his issues without hurting himself worse in the process. the ending with darius and hunter was so sweet like. touched my heart it was so comforting and nice. amazing fic

      Yeah, now that everything is over and things are "normal", he wants things to be over for him too but it just doesn't work this way. Even if it feels like he has to rush so he doesn't burden his new parents. 😔

      He'll be realizing that soon enough and as much as it hurts, he will have to take it slow. And now there's people who will hold him and tell him that he gotta slow down.

      I just love their little family so much and how those two took on the responsibility for Hunter cause I know they fully realize what it means and what they will have to do. It's a life time commitment after all.
