    1. Suggest you watch the film. Steve was destroying the computer to stop Tony's Ulltron 2.0. He had no interest in attacking Tony, because that wouldn't have done anything productive.

Your comments, particularly about Sam, are very revealing.

      1. Uh . . . no, he threw his shield directly at Tony. And since Rogers had exactly zero knowledge of how computers work, much less AI, he has no justification whatsoever. Also, it's in the movie that he went after Tony because Maximoff told him that Tony was doing something dangerous. It is established FACT that he trusted the word of a mind-raping Hydra volunteer who tried several times to hurt or kill Tony and didn't even try to ask his teammate for at least a year what was going on.

Fail. You lose again. Stop. Trying.

          1. I just cannot understand the logic of Team Cap people. Why on earth would you go out of your way to read a story you know ahead of time is not friendly or even sympathetic to your side? And then, once you've gone out of your way to be offended, attempt to justify said offense with badly written, poorly worded 'arguments' that wouldn't hold up under a blade of spring grass? I just . . . it boggles the mind. And I hate being mind-boggled, especially this early in the week.

                      1. Not to get in the middle of . . . this . . . but I'd advise you to stop arguing with this cowardly guest. Nothing you say will make a single bit of difference, and neither will any evidence or proof you can provide that disputes what this person wants to believe, so leave it be. You'll only get a migraine.

                        I speak from experience.

That said, I do appreciate your comments on the fic; you've had some interesting insights that I hadn't considered before, and that's always fun. Keep watching this space; I have another ficlet that's almost ready to post and I think I'll be able to do something with the prompt I was given, so I'm gonna poke at that today

Steve threw the shield at computers, not Tony. Tony was not in any danger nor under attack when he put on a gauntlet and shot Steve.

Steve "went after Tony" because Tony and Bruce unleashed a homicidal AI not only without consulting anyone else, but also directly lying to the team about their intentions. And now were planning to do so a second time. To suggest that Steve (or anyone else) needed to tell him that was a bad idea is strange indeed.

          1. Gah, you're done. There is no reasoning with you. You're wrong, 100%, but you're also one of those people who believe that Rogers can do no wrong and Tony can do nothing right, regardless of proof and evidence to the contrary. And that's fine; that's your opinion and beliefs, and they are yours to have.

But WHY read a story that you **know** isn't going to be even a little friendly to your side? Unless your purpose is to harass Tony Stark/Team Iron Man fans, what's the point? There is no way you'll enjoy the story, so I really want to know, to understand, why you do it. What do you get out of it? And if your purpose is just to harass us, then . . . God, I feel so sorry for you, that you actually have nothing else to do with your time. That's just pitiful, and pitiable.

            1. These are not opinions or beliefs; they are canon facts shown on the screen.
In the scene you cite as "non heroic" action by Steve, Steve did not throw the shield at Tony. Tony was not under threat when he shot Steve, so by your own definition Tony's action was decidedly "non heroic." If you believe the clip mentioned does not contain these facts, please point out where they do not. I am trying to understand how you can view this scene and make the claim you did. It does not follow.

I read this work because you claimed you were not being cliche and that you were presenting truths. As your third chapter imagines scenarios that never happen outside of stories like yours, I would say that you failed in your mission. Unless you can explain how I am "100% wrong" about actual video evidence, we are indeed done.

              1. There's no point whatsoever in trying to debate with you, is the problem. You've decided that what you see onscreen is point a, while I think it's point b. We are never going to reconcile those beliefs, which is fine, but again: you can claim that I wasn't going to be cliche and presenting truths, but you somehow managed to miss the not Rogers friendly tags right next to them? You managed to miss the part where I specified that I'm presenting stories that are different to the prevalent **fic** plots I keep seeing. Not the movies so much, though I have issues with virtually all of them, but fic.

You . . . refuse to understand that. And that's fine; your life, your opinion. But you've gone way, way past 'opinion' and straight into harassment mode here, and I'm done with that. It has been made abundantly clear to you that your attempts to educate us on how stupid and wrong we are for our interpretation of things that differ from yours are not welcome. So please, go away. Find and read stories that are clearly marked to your liking. Because commenting on a story like this, one that is so blatantly the opposite of your personal opinion, is not constructive criticism. I've gotten some of that and it's been helpful and insightful, but not from you. I've gotten nothing but stubborn refusal to concede any point that you don't like, even if I agree that Tony did something wrong. You are determined to make sure that I -- we -- understand that you and only you are right and correct in how you see things, and I'm done. I don't want to block you, because I think that's childish, but to be blunt: you are not welcome to comment on this fic anymore, as long as this harassment is what you're going to say. Post something like this again and I *will* block you.
