But now, the whole city is full of harbingers. Everyone in Paris can see the reapers, which means everyone in Paris can see the way the number of reapers in the city just keeps growing, like hundreds of thousands of deaths are just around the corner.

Of course, it is possible that at least half of those deaths belong to Adrien, who can't seem to go more than a day without dying, as opposed to Marinette, who can't die no matter what happens to her.

But apparently, those are just two of the possible effects of accidentally binding your soul to a reaper's for all of eternity.
