Summary
riverdale is not a town for the faint hearted. and if the people inside it could, they’d put a warning above every single welcome sign saying “DANGER! TURN BACK NOW!”
but for all the pandemonium, and for all the insane happenings within the small town of riverdale, there’s what will come to exist within the walls of thistlehouse, the beautiful home that belongs to roseanne blossom.
what will come to exist, is a love story for the ages. a certain “romeo and juliet” type of romance that will weather through many tests, many storms, to determine whether it should wither, or bloom. for despite the many similarities between the soon to be two lovers within riverdale and the ill-fated montague and capulet, the modern obstacles they will have to face are far more dangerous than any romeo and juliet had to endure (even if they did ultimately die from self-inflicted poisoning).

cheryl blossom has always believed in the idea of having multiple soulmates.
since she was a young girl, cheryl had been told over and over again by her incredibly depraved and psychotic mother that there was no one out there for her that would love her, that blossoms were made to suffer and suffer alone. and ever since she was a little girl, cheryl fought hard to rid those words from her mind, forcing herself to repeat the mantra over and over again:
"there’s someone out there for everyone. even you, cheryl."

twenty years…twenty years together and the woman before her still has the fucking ability to make her heart race with a simple look and a smile…cheryl will never understand it, but over the course of twenty years, she’s discovered that it’s not something that necessarily needs to be understood…just something that needs to be acknowledged. because what they have is unexplainable, indefinable…something so beautiful, something so pure, cheryl’s quite sure not even the best writers could write down on pen and paper.
shakespeare would eat his heart out at the sight of their love. for what were romeo and juliet compared to cheryl and toni?

aka, a nice conclusion to the "meant to be" series that looks at cheryl and toni's lives together after all the chaos from the first two stories, because i like happy endings, sue me.
