Description:

Zelda and Link begin to rebuild Hyrule after defeating the Calamity. They each must come to terms with the terrible losses of the war, and find a way to build a new life together -- without those they've lost.

Notes:

These pieces are canon-consistent with the main game, but a bit divergent from the "Champions' Ballad" DLC.

Many thanks to the folks at IGN.com for the excellent and thorough walk-throughs of the game, as well as the interactive Hyrule map, both of which I referred to frequently as I wrote this series.

In addition, the canon continuity with Tears of the Kingdom is limited, due to the inconsistencies between the two games. If you read parts 1-10, and then read my Tears of the Kingdom series, "Interlude," and then read part 11 of this series, it mostly works. You have to imagine that the castle is not as restored as I describe it, and there are Sages instead of Champions, and all the Sheikah technology is gone, but I think it still flows all right, emotionally.
