'"Why on earth am I marrying you?" Jimin asked the air, leaning over to flick the lamp off and laugh into his pillow. He heard Taehyung huff across from him, easily pushing into his space so their faces were parallel.
"Because I'm your best friend." Jimin blinked his eyes open, teasing smile falling to make way for parted lips.
"You are." It was a soft-spoken admission, careful in ways it shouldn't have been. A known fact for their entire lives yet it meant so much. Taehyung smiled once more, gentle and loving as he nuzzled his nose against Jimin's.'
