Summary
"Normally, when Quentin feels shitty and worthless, he talks to Eliot but right now Eliot is- giddy and in love and if Alice had said 'yes', all that would be fine, but right now he doesn't think he can handle having Eliot's happiness rubbed in his face."
For the polyamory prompt for Queliot Week 2019.

Summary
Eliot glances up as Margo presses a soft sponge against Quentin's newly-shaven cheek, leaving behind a barely noticeable streak of foundation. Margo's positioned Quentin to catch the natural light pouring through the study's window, and between that and how she's pinned up his hair to keep it out of his face, there's a lovely 'artist at work' vibe going on.

Summary
This whole thing- this thing they have, with Quentin. It's changing her relationship with Eliot, too, in ways she couldn't have predicted. They've always been handsy, as friends go, but there's just- more now.

Summary
Even just standing there, Eliot exudes this- this classic rakish grace. The kind that nineteenth-century novelists could spend entire chapters trying and failing to describe. A dark curl lays across his forehead, embroidered and heavily-layered clothing outlines his shoulders and waist, there's that tempting cleft in his chin Quentin wants to kiss. Eliot and Margo are just... effortlessly beautiful every moment of every day. Even when they're so drunk they can barely stand up, they manage to do it elegantly.

Summary
This isn't how Eliot had hoped to return to Earth. Sure, he'd wanted to come back – for a visit, to do some research so that he and Margo could set up more fun games for Quentin, maybe pick up some quality alcohol instead of the horrible-tasting shit Fillory had – but banishment hadn't been part of his plans.
Still, Eliot's life has been a study in making the best of things, and he'll make the best of this, too.
At least he isn't alone. He has his Bambi and he has his Q.
