Short? Yes. Incomplete? Never.
I'm writing a series of haiku about the Mosaic. These are all standalone but I shall add more like tiles from time to time. So in essence this puzzle will always be complete yet ever creating a new pattern. Hoping to gradually present the beauty of all their lives together. Like shifting tiles I may shift the pictures around too, as I have time. I'm actually being crushed by deadlines rn, sorry for the mess, but I figure They got tired working on the puzzle, too. Yet they loved each day. And we all love it so.

Right now I'm primarily working on adding the missing art pieces to match the photoscenes in the Tumblr chapters. Just to make sure you don't miss the art, please subscribe, as starting with fall 2025 I've begun creating "bonus art chapters" collecting the art that was retroactively added to missing chapters, so that those who already enjoyed the chapters won't miss anything. Quentin Coldwater has arrived in the Underworld. As grief consumes him, he must decide the next path he takes in death.
This is the first chapter in a LONG series I've been working on for a few months now. It spans across multiple locations, includes all our favorite characters, and some new ones of my own creation. It's basically what I would want season 6 of the show to be.

Quentin closed the till. “Why do you ask?”
“Because.” The customer’s smile broadened, or deepened, or darkened. “You’re cute, and I’d like to fuck you.”
Quentin laughed out loud at that—his brazenness, the sheer absurdity of the statement. How impossible it was to take him seriously. “Is that your best line?”
“Depends.” The customer tilted his head, a gesture at once predatory and playful—as though he intended simultaneously to promise danger and to assure Quentin that this was really all one big game the two of them were playing together. “Did it work?”
(Or: In which Quentin did get into Yale, and magic is not, in fact, real, but being seduced by Eliot Waugh nonetheless retains some sparkle-restoring properties.)

Now: When Eliot wakes up, everything is wrong. Quentin is missing, leaving only ominous letters behind, and no one seems to care. He needs to understand what happened while he was gone. Why something in his body is telling him things were worse than they seemed. He has to find Q, at least make sure he's still alive.
Then: The monster is fascinated by Quentin. And Quentin? Well, he loves Eliot and he needs to keep his body alive for him to return... and he is a weak, selfish man. Really, he shouldn't have expected better from himself.
