Notes:

The artwork is part of the challenge Time Is an Illusion, and is inspired by 1x01 Unauthorized Magic for the 10th anniversary of its first airing.

It's my second work in The Magicians fandom and the first I've published since coming back to...digital artwork? I guess?

Anyway, some detail:

- Quentin's bag, Eliot's waistcoat, the two little grass bushes, and "You're late" lettering are all mine.
- The repeated "late" in the background is meant to recall intrusive thoughts, an insistent word floating around in your head, a classic occurrence if you have anxiety and are socially awkward (like Quentin, nothing like me, I swear).
- I had several other ideas for this artwork, but I don't have the skills (yet). For example, not to make it too queliot-centric, I wanted to add Julia's hands sparkling with magic, but heh. Maybe next time.
