Three stories set in the same universe. In the first, Cecily Stewart has her life figured out. She's an award-winning investigative reporter for The New York Times on the trail of her biggest story yet. Until it gets her killed... sort of. In the second, Mara Winslow has finally made it to the crime desk at The Seattle Times, following in the footsteps of her father - a Pulitzer-winning crime reporter. But while on assignment to Forks covering strange deaths, she discovers a bit more than she bargained for. In the third story, Mara and Embry are starting out a new life together, when a pack of rogue vampires bring everything crashing down around them. It also causes Demetri's past and present to collide.

TW: Turning of Cecily Stewart has mentions of child abuse and language. What Happened in the Forest has language and mention of suicide/murder.

Notes:

I have a thing for making my protagonists reporters - I can't help it, it's what I do for one of my day jobs, so something I know fairly well (though definitely NOT a crime or investigative reporter). The first story centers around vampires, while the second is centered on the wolves. The third brings everyone together in one nice, little story. I'm not sure what possessed me to write Twilight fanfic as I haven't touched the books in years, but caught one of the movies on TV one day and these stories were a result of that. They are a bit more mature than the books/movies in terms of topics, language and themes. Mostly because everyone's adults and such.
