Description:

A kind of fix-it fic for some of the characters that deserved way better from Rise of Skywalker. The bulk of the fic is about Ben and Rey surviving (in a very canon way) and learning how to be a dyad when there isn't a catastrophe happening. The interludes are primarily about Hux and assume that Finn convinced him that Pryde would never buy his story even if he did shoot him, thus dragging the beleaguered general back to the Resistance. However, there is a rather cute Twi'lek in the Resistance who is more than happy to "adopt" said general.

We made it into a series rather than a chapter fic because we felt the "chapters" were too long to really fit that description.
